Welcome to Clinton Public Schools Transportation! Our Transportation Department provide students with transportation needs. We are usually the first and the last District representatives that many students experience and we are gladly to accept this responsibility.

The Transportation Department serves 132 square miles with 85 regular routes and 5 special needs routes. More than 3,500 students rely on the department for daily service to/from their home. We have 95 CDL/MDE certified drivers - 55 assigned to regular routes, 5 to special needs routes, and 35 available for athletics, activities/field trips, and route substitutes.

The bus fleet contains 79 buses - 24 Class B, 48 Class C, 7 Class C Sped, and 2 Class A Conversion vans. All buses are fueled by diesel. We have air conditioning on 36 regular buses and 7 sped buses.

The Transportation Department hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except for a lunch break which is from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., mechanics are on duty before and after these hours. We are at 519 Springridge Road next to Clinton Public Works. Our telephone number is (601)924-7219. If you cannot reach a person directly, please leave a message on the answering system.
